Moses Itauma's sharp rise created havoc in the heavyweight division until he was shockingly beaten by Filip Hrgovic.
The British fighter, 21, was even named ESPN's No. 1 boxer under the age of 25 in our most recent ranking but, since then, has experienced a dramatic first loss at the hands of Hrgvovic with the vacant IBF title at stake.
Here's all the key questions about Moses Itauma answered.
Moses Itauma next fight
Itauma's next fight is unconfirmed since he was stopped in Round 9 by Hrgovic in their IBF title fight. He had won every round but, exhausted, had nothing left to offer as Hrgovic took over.
His promoter Frank Warren has confirmed that Itauma wants a rematch.
"He is saying to me 'can we get the rematch on', which is a natural reaction but I've told him to switch off from boxing, go chill out," Warren told talkSPORT.
Warren also confirmed that he wants to see Itauma rebuild with one or two fights before considering another meeting with Hrgovic.
Who could those fights be against? It might be tough to match Itauma. He went on a wrecking spree of Demsey McKean, Dillian Whyte, Jermaine Franklin and others which led to being paired with the durable Hrgovic, who he failed to knock out. Now Itauma needs rounds to prove he has a gas tank which his rivals might be questioning.
Whoever Itauma is matched against next will be pivotal if he is to rebuild into a world title contender again.
Moses Itauma weight, height
Itauma weighed in for his last fight against Hrgovic at 241.7 pounds. Against Dillian Whyte, Itauma weighed 245.5 lbs.

Moses Itauma boxing record, amateur record
Itauma has a perfect 14-1 professional record with 12 knockout wins.
His third and fourth fights went the six-round distance but he has knocked out every other opponent. Itauma built a streak of nine consecutive stoppages inside the first two rounds before he faced Franklin, and needed five rounds to get the job done.
His record was a perfect 14-0 when he fought Hrgovic for the IBF title. Despite winning eight rounds he couldn't get rid of the Croatian and he badly tired in Round 9, when he was stopped.
As an amateur, Itauma was unbeaten in 24 fights and won 11 by knockout.
He won gold medals at the schools, juniors, youth Europeans and the Heavyweight Youth World Championships before turning pro aged 18.
Who is Moses Itauma's trainer?
Ben Davison is the trainer of Itauma. Davison has previously been in the corner for Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. He threw the towel in as Hrgovic took over against Itauma.
Who is Moses Itauma's promoter?
Itauma's career is guided by Queensberry's Frank Warren.
"He has got to learn from that and the corner has to learn," Warren said after Itauma lost to Hrgovic. "His team and all of us. It is all pretty raw at the moment and sore. We'll sit down and have a debrief.
"There is going to have to be some changes and there will be some changes to where he is at, but one thing about Moses is he's an intelligent guy, he is a nice kid, has got a very good brain on him and he'll learn from this."
