What the Rams have to look forward to on 'Hard Knocks'

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The NFL announced Wednesday that the Los Angeles Rams would be the featured team on the 11th edition of the HBO docuseries "Hard Knocks."

Throughout the previous 10 seasons of the show there's been no shortage of drama or intrigue, and the Rams have plenty of interesting characters and won't lack for storylines as they again try to get over the hump and have their first winning season since 2003.

On Wednesday afternoon, our ESPN NFL Nation reporters took a season-by-season look at the show, with a quick rundown of the year and how that season played out. It's a fun stroll down memory lane and offers a glimpse into what the Rams and their fans have to look forward to when the show begins in August. Personally, I'm still partial to the 2010 version featuring the New York Jets and the memorable Rex Ryan "snack" line and the inner-workings of cornerback Darrelle Revis' holdout.

It's probably a good bet that Rams coach Jeff Fisher won't be profanely demanding snacks, but defensive coordinator Gregg Williams isn't afraid to say what's on his mind.

Here's our news story on the Rams being named the "Hard Knocks" team. And I followed with my five players who could steal the show.
