Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Monday from around the Web:
Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post writes that rookie running back Jay Ajayi missed practice time with a hamstring injury.
Morning take: Ajayi is having a slow start to training camp. Other backup tailbacks such as LaMichael James and Damien Williams have made more plays, and this injury isn’t helping the rookie.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald writes that the Dolphins still have issues on offense.
Morning take: Pass protection has been the biggest issue. Not only is the pocket not clean, the blitz pickups have been suspect.
Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel writes that Dolphins receiver Rishard Matthews is performing well in practice.
Morning take: Matthews had his best day Sunday. He caught two deep balls from quarterback Ryan Tannehill and continues to work toward gaining a role on the team.
