INDIANAPOLIS -- Lost in the Frank Gore, Andre Johnson and Trent Cole talk on Tuesday was the Indianapolis Colts agreeing to a contract extension with versatile lineman Joe Reitz. That deal is reportedly for $9 million over three years.
Reitz, who is from the Indianapolis area, has spent the past four seasons with the Colts. He’s the perfect lineman for the Colts because he can play multiple positions. That’s necessary when you take into account all the injuries they dealt with last season. The Colts used 11 different starting lineups on the offensive line in 2014.
Reitz started at right tackle, left guard and right guard last season.
