Ravens' snap-count analysis: Quarterbacks

The Baltimore Ravens blog is reviewing the breakdown of snaps at each position:

QUARTERBACKS

Joe Flacco: 1,015 snaps (99.3 percent)

Tyrod Taylor: 6 snaps (0.7 percent)

Only three other quarterbacks participated in more of their team's snaps than Flacco in 2014. Drew Brees and Matthew Stafford didn't sit out a play, and Russell Wilson played 99.6 percent of the Seattle Seahawks' snaps. Flacco's snaps topped the Ravens offense, one more than center Jeremy Zuttah. Flacco has played more than 1,000 snaps in five of his seven NFL seasons. Since Flacco entered the NFL in 2008, his 7,128 snaps rank behind only Brees (7,334) among quarterbacks. Taylor played his fewest snaps since his rookie season in 2011, when he was on the field for five snaps. He had 89 snaps in 2012 and 20 snaps in 2013.
