OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens cornerback Asa Jackson was running and working on lateral movement during the media viewing portion of Tuesday's practice.
Jackson wasn't practicing, but this is a sign that the No. 3 cornerback is working his way to being ready for the Sept. 7 season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.
It was also the second straight day that tight end Owen Daniels was doing position drills. Daniels missed the past two games with leg fatigue.
Strong safety Matt Elam was sidelined for a second consecutive practice with a leg injury. He won't play in Thursday's preseason finale but he's expected to practice later in the week.
Wide receiver Kamar Aiken, who is fighting for a roster spot, returned after missing one day with a migraine.
In another note, tight end Phillip Supernaw was working at fullback. The Ravens need a backup for the finale after injury-waiving Shaun Chapas.
