Three championships are on the line, along with a potential end to a long-running feud Saturday at WWE's Crown Jewel from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (noon ET, ESPN Unlimited).
New men's and women's Crown Jewel champions will be crowned as the world titleholders from "Raw" and "SmackDown" will step in the ring against each other. World heavyweight champion Roman Reigns squares off against Undisputed WWE champion Sami Zayn, and Women's World champion Liv Morgan will take on Women's champion Chelsea Green.
The Vision (Austin Theory and Bron Breakker) defend the World Tag Team Championship against challengers Penta and Je'Von Evans. And the latest chapter in the Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton saga will take place as part of a Last Man Standing match.
Our panel of WWE experts -- Sean Coyle, Juliana Daddio, Joe Fortenbaugh and Sach Chandan -- make their Crown Jewel predictions before this weekend's premium live event.
The winner of the men's Crown Jewel match will be ...
Daddio: With interference or assistance from the 946, Sami Zayn could capitalize on an opening and score a shocking victory over Roman Reigns, who is entering as the favorite thanks to his undefeated 2026 record (7-0) and dominant run. But that momentum would make the upset even more impactful. It would also create the perfect foundation for a larger faction war leading into this month's Survivor Series: WarGames, where The Bloodline could seek revenge against the 946.
Coyle: Roman Reigns has been untouchable in 2026. Win No. 8 is coming Saturday. It's tough to pick against Reigns, and I won't do that here. Winning the Crown Jewel Championship is one of the few things Reigns has yet to do in the WWE. Even if the 946 makes an appearance, I still think Reigns pulls this one out. It's time to add another accolade to the stellar résumé of "The Tribal Chief."
Fortenbaugh: Sami Zayn with an assist from the 946. It has been a tour de force three-month stretch for Reigns. It commenced with an instant SummerSlam classic victory over Seth Rollins in August and transitioned into an unbelievable "Raw" win over Penta the next month before yet another crowd-pleaser over L.A. Knight at Money In the Bank four weeks ago. The current line of thinking is that Reigns will be unstoppable until facing Oba Femi at WrestleMania, so what better way to pull the wool over the audience's eyes -- while also generating more heat for WarGames -- than by having Zayn pick up the upset win here courtesy of 946? What's fun about this possibility is that after spending months claiming he's always getting robbed, Zayn ends up on the winning side of the shenanigans.
Chandan: Sami Zayn has held his own surprisingly well against Reigns in their verbal confrontations, and a win for Zayn means more than for Reigns. Though Reigns has been dominant in 2026, the exciting feature of this match is that the World Heavyweight Championship will not be on the line.
As the other panelists have noted, Royce Keys and 946, as well as Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano, could make their presence known and cost Reigns his match. Reigns has won his championship defenses and PLE matches without interference to this point, and Zayn has narrowly scraped by as champion. Interference costing Reigns would keep his story building toward Survivor Series, while giving "The Last Real Good Guy," Zayn, an incredibly meaningful win.
The winner of the women's Crown Jewel match will be ...
Coyle: This is tough, but I think Chelsea Green extends her run of unexpected victories. The real story will be whether Tiffany Stratton continues to push toward a Money in the Bank cash-in. I'm betting she does at Crown Jewel, perhaps as Green is celebrating a victory. It would be a perfect opportunity for Stratton to complete a heel turn that many have expected, turn on Green and win the WWE Women's Championship for the second time in her career.
Fortenbaugh: If this isn't Chelsea Green defeating Liv Morgan followed by a Tiffany Stratton cash-in/heel turn on Chelsea, put me out to pasture. If you want to up the degree of difficulty, have Stratton cash in during the match, a la Seth Rollins at WrestleMania in 2015. That would turn the Crown Jewel head-to-head into a triple-threat match on the spot. With Liv incapacitated, courtesy of Chelsea and Tiffany, Stratton turns heel, cashes in on Chelsea and wins the Crown Jewel belt. Hey, Triple H, consider this my pitch to join your creative team!
Daddio: I think Chelsea Green will defeat Liv Morgan. Green is incredibly entertaining and has gained a lot of momentum, often thriving in the underdog role. However, as Coyle and Fortenbaugh have suggested, the bigger question is whether Stratton will cash in her Money in the Bank contract and finally turn heel.
I agree with their prediction that she will. I believe that as Chelsea celebrates her victory in the ring, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez will attack her from behind. Tiffany will then come out, seemingly to make the save, only to shock everyone by turning on Chelsea and cashing in her Money in the Bank contract to win the WWE Women's Championship. This would allow Chelsea to have her Crown Jewel moment and secure a huge victory over Liv, while also setting up a dramatic heel turn for Tiffany. It would be the perfect way to capitalize on Tiffany's Money in the Bank contract and create one of the biggest moments of the night.
Chandan: I have been going back and forth on the result of this match all week. On the one hand, Green is hot with the audience after pulling out clutch wins in the past few months. On the other hand, Morgan has clearly been booked stronger and is in bigger feuds. With all of this in mind -- and the possibility that Judgment Day could be involved -- I'm picking Morgan to win a match that is 90% straight wrestling with shenanigans at the end.
Fans have been clamoring for Cody Rhodes to show some edge. Does he show more signs of turning heel in his Last Man Standing match against Randy Orton?
Daddio: No. Though many fans would love to see a Cody heel run, much like they wanted with John Cena for years, I don't think now is the right time. That moment will come eventually, but not at Crown Jewel. Cody has already shown a darker edge to his character lately through his promos and even by punting Baron Corbin, and I expect that aggressive side of him will be on full display throughout the match. That said, I think Cody will shock "The Viper" by using his own weapon against him, delivering a punt kick to keep Orton down and secure the victory.
Coyle: Cody is in an interesting spot here. He's still a babyface, but fans refuse to boo Orton. Cody has already shown more of an edge lately, with fiery promos and by punting Baron Corbin. I think that continues at Crown Jewel, especially with no disqualifications in a Last Man Standing match. Do we get a full-blown heel turn? I don't think so. In fact, I'm not sure we'll see that anytime soon. Cody is in a situation similar to Cena during his run. Fans consistently clamor for a heel turn that doesn't happen. Maybe we'll get one during Cody's farewell tour down the road, a la Cena, but I don't think it'll be here.
Fortenbaugh: We have to stop talking about the Rhodes heel turn. It feels as if people like me predict it at every PLE, and at every PLE, we're proven wrong. If/when it finally happens, we won't see it coming. I'm convinced WWE will do this right and catch us all by surprise. That said, Rhodes punt kicks "The Viper" to win. Side note: What a promo from Randy on "Raw" this week!
Chandan: Though I do not believe Rhodes is turning heel, the storyline is definitely heading toward Rhodes needing to wrestle this match the way Orton would to win, and that includes merciless violence and maybe a punt. This is a Last Man Standing match, so Rhodes will have to pull out a big move at the end to keep "The Viper" down for the 10-count. I think Rhodes wins the match and the feud, and he is left morally conflicted as he looks back at the carnage wrought in the ring. Rhodes should be at his most violent, more so than anything we've seen from him in recent memory.
What percentage chance would you give Penta teasing a Money in the Bank cash-in on Roman Reigns or Sami Zayn?
Daddio: 10% chance. I have much more confidence that we'll see a women's Money in the Bank cash-in than a cash-in from Penta. WWE should let the story play out a little longer for Penta rather than rushing it. With several major PLEs still ahead, I believe WWE will continue building Penta's momentum and carefully setting up the right moment for him to cash in his Money in the Bank contract.
Coyle: I'd give it a 95% chance that we'll see a teased cash-in. I don't expect Penta to officially cash in, but his involvement would add another layer of intrigue, especially with no clear indication of whom he'll pursue. Between Penta and potential 946 interference, this has the makings of a chaotic match.
Fortenbaugh: 15%. I think the reason we'll get a women's cash-in now is that the Penta cash-in is coming much later. They should let this burn for a bit rather than ramp it up. We've got WarGames and the John Cena Classic on the horizon. I think the Penta cash-in angle can marinate for a bit before it starts to build steam.
Chandan: 5% chance. Penta will be in the building because he and Je'Von Evans are challenging for the World Tag Team Championships earlier in the show against The Vision. However, will he be in a condition after that match to make his presence known in the main event? I doubt it, and I expect The Vision to lay out Penta after the match, taking him out of play for the rest of the night.
