No. 15 UCLA women defeat Colorado 82-64
BOULDER, Colo. -- Nirra Fields scored 17 points, Lajahna Drummer had 16 and No. 15 UCLA defeated Colorado 82-64 Friday night for its fourth-straight win.
Kelli Hayes scored 13 points and Monique Billings 10 for the Bruins (15-5, 7-2 Pac-12). With Drummer and Hayes coming off the bench to score career highs, the UCLA bench outscored Colorado 38-13. Jordin Canada had five assists, the 18th time in 20 games she has had at least five helpers but Kari Korver's streak of 30 games with a 3-pointer ended when she went 0 for 3.
Haley Smith had 17 points, Jamee Swan 16 and Alexis Robinson 14 for the Buffalos (5-15, 0-9), who lost their 10th straight.
UCLA led 22-16 after one quarter and pushed that to 45-28 at the half.
Colorado finished with 23 turnovers which the Bruins, who went 31 of 42 at the foul line, turned into 25 points.
