Blake Dietrick leads No. 16 Princeton (22-0) past Brown
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Blake Dietrick scored 18 points and all five starters scored in double figures as No. 16 Princeton remained the only unbeaten Division I women's basketball team with an 86-58 win over Brown on Friday.
Annie Tarakchian had 13 points and 10 rebounds, Michelle Miller, Amanda Berntsen and Mariah Smith added 12 points apiece, and Alex Wheatley 11 for the Tigers (22-0, 6-0 Ivy League).
Sophie Bikofsky had 12 points and Jordin Alexander 11 for the Bears (9-12, 3-4)
Dietrick had 16 points and Princeton shot 59.3 percent to take a 51-31 lead at the half. The Tigers were 13 of 33 in the second half, finishing at 48.3 percent for the game, but had no problem pulling away from the Bears, who shot just 33 percent from the field.
Only the 1970-71 Penn men's team, that was 28-0, has ever had a better start in league history.
