No. 23 Mississippi State women beat N Dakota State

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Victoria Vivians scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Breanna Richardson added 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 23 Mississippi State women past North Dakota State 109-58 on Tuesday night.

LaKaris Salter scored 16, Morgan William added 12 and Sherise Williams 11 for Mississippi State (7-0), which has now started back-to-back seasons with seven straight wins for the first time in program history.

Vivians scored eight points, including two of her six 3-pointers, during a 13-2 run to open the game.

After Marena Whittle made North Dakota State's first field goal of the game, a jumper with 15:51 left in the first half, a three-point play by Williams sparked a 12-4 run that made it 26-8 midway through the period. Vivians hit two more 3's during that stretch.

Mississippi State out-rebounded NDSU 53-30, forced 21 turnovers and shot 52 percent from the field, including 11 of 22 3-pointers.
