Tottenham Hotspur's winning run in the Premier League came to an end at Elland Road, with Noah Okafor's 79th-minute strike giving Leeds United a 1-0 victory. The result drops Tottenham to tenth in the table on 12 points, while Leeds leapfrogged them into eighth place, on 14 points.

Roberto De Zerbi's side were second best for much of the first half, and almost gave away a penalty early on when Mateus Fernandes appeared to have handled in the box, but a VAR check ruled it out. Spurs were left aggrieved in the 35th minute when Jayden Bogle was fortunate to escape a red card, after a late challenge on Mathys Tel, which saw his studs catch the back of the Tottenham forward's foot, but VAR ruled out a sending off as the first half finished goalless.

Leeds remained the dominant side after the break, with Ao Tanaka and Sean Longstaff going close to opening the scoring for the hosts. The breakthrough came in the 79th minute, when substitutes Harry Wilson and Noah Okafor combined in the box a minute after coming on, setting up the Swiss striker for a shot in the box, and he responded with a firm finish into the net.

Spurs ramped up the pressure late on, with Luca Williams-Barnett setting up Rodrigo Bentancur with seconds to go, but the Uruguayan midfielder was offside, as Tottenham saw their winning run come to an end.
