Kai Havertz's winning goal in Arsenal's 1-0 triumph at Liverpool on Sunday made him the record German goalscorer in the Premier League.
The Gunners forward surpassed the mark of former Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gündogan when he tapped home his 46th goal in the competition after 16 minutes at Anfield.
It was his third league strike of the campaign, taking his overall total for the north London club to 27.
He scored 19 Premier League goals during his spell with Chelsea from 2020 to 2023, a period during which he also netted a Champions League final winner.
Brighton's Pascal Gross is the competition's third most prolific German with 34, ahead of former Arsenal player Mesut Ozil with 33.

Other notable Germans on the list include former Tottenham favourite Jurgen Klinsmann with 29 and Michael Ballack, a Chelsea title-winner, with 17.
Havertz's Germany international team-mate Florian Wirtz, who hit the bar for Liverpool, has five goals to his name for the Reds.
Havertz's goal was his second in 12 career games against Liverpool in all competitions, his only other goal against Liverpool had come in Aug. 2021 with Chelsea.
It also snapped a nine-game scoreless streak with Arsenal in all competitions, which was his longest run since a streak of the same nature between October and November 2023, which he broke with a goal at Brentford in another 1-0 away Premier League win.
It was also Havertz's second game-winning goal in Premier League this season, which surpassed his total game-winning goals from last season.
