Enzo Maresca has played down fears over Erling Haaland's fitness after the striker limped off at the end of Manchester City's 3-2 win over Ipswich on Saturday.

Haaland, who scored twice, looked in pain after a heavy challenge with Jack Clarke in stoppage time.

The Norwegian was already heading off the pitch before the full-time whistle was blown and went straight down the tunnel at the end of the game.

"We will see," Maresca said afterward. "Erling said he was OK. I don't have any news at the moment."

Haaland was one of a number of injury worries for City during the game.

Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, Nico O'Reilly and Antoine Semenyo all picked up problems, with Maresca identifying Semenyo's as the most serious issue.

"Unfortunately in 10 minutes we had four or five players [injured] -- Matheus, Kova, Erling, Antoine and Nico also -- but they are inside now and we will see," the City boss said.

"I asked all of them. Mateo and Kova said they were OK. Erling also said he was OK and Nico, it's still his back if you remember [the injury] against Coventry. It's still the same problem. The only one we need to wait on is Antoine."
