Barcelona forced to rearrange Arsenal Women's Champions League match due to strike action

Barcelona have been forced to rearrange the date of their Champions League clash with Arsenal due to strike action.

The replay of the 2025 final was supposed to be played on Nov. 11 at Camp Nou, however, sources told ESPN that Barcelona had requested a date change due to a general 24-hour strike over housing and wages taking place ahead of the start of the election campaign cycle.

A UEFA statement said "the match cannot be staged under the required conditions."

Arsenal face Liverpool in a Women's Super League (WSL) clash on Sunday, Nov. 8 in Merseyside. ESPN understands the Liverpool v Arsenal game could not be rearranged.
