Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said Raphinha will miss the Spanish champions' upcoming games against Getafe and Galatasaray after returning from Brazil duty with a hamstring problem.

Raphinha, who has scored 14 goals in eight Barça appearances this season, picked up the knock in the Seleção's 4-2 friendly win over Australia last week.

Sources told ESPN the injury is not serious -- and that the forward will be available for huge matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid later this month -- but the Catalan club will take no risks.

"The [scan] showed something," Flick confirmed in a news conference ahead of Saturday's LaLiga fixture against Getafe at Spotify Camp Nou.

"It's not a big injury, but we have to take care about this. Last season, I think [he had] three injuries like this, so we take care. He's not available tomorrow or in Istanbul against Galatasaray."

Raphinha, 29, missed 25 games for club and country last season because of hamstring issues, which is one of the reasons for Barça applying caution this time around.

The Blaugrana suffered a dip in intensity when the Brazilian was sidelined -- with sporting director Deco saying that was one of the reasons they signed Antony Gordon in the summer -- but Flick says that will not happen again.

"What I saw today in training, I saw a lot of very good things, huge quality," he added when asked about the impact Raphinha's absence could have.

"Also against the ball we press very well. This is our standard, our mentality, I think the other players can do it."

Raphinha's explosive form this season has come playing as a No.9 -- a position which is new to him -- after stepping into the gap vacated by the exits of Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres.

His injury will give summer signing Gabriel Jesus, who has scored two goals in four appearances off the bench already, to start his first games since joining from Arsenal.

"This is the idea," Flick said when asked if Jesus will be the starting striker against Getafe this weekend.

"He's improve a lot here, adapted to our style, how we want to play. His strength is in the box. In these three weeks [during the international break], he trained good. I like what I saw. He is ready."

Flick also confirmed Joan García is fit to return in goal, while Frenkie de Jong, yet to feature this season, is also close to a comeback.

Like Raphinha, the Dutch midfielder will not be available against Getafe or Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday, but he could be back in the squad for the visit to Betis next Saturday.

"The evolution is good," Flick said. "He has no pain; he can do everything, but he needs some time more."

Barça have won all eight of their games in all competitions this season - - seven in LaLiga and one in the Champions League - - but their perfect start to the campaign will be tested across a gruelling run of fixtures in October.

After hosting Getafe on Saturday, they have away games against Galatasaray, Real Betis and PSG before the Clásico at Camp Nou against Madrid on Oct. 25.

"Always the next game is the most important, nothing else," Flick said, refusing to look to far ahead.

"Getafe is not an easy game. They defend well, they had huge success last season qualifying for the Conference League, very good. We know how they play. It's never easy. For us, the focus is Getafe."
