Erling Haaland has an injury question looming over him after asking to be substituted for Norway on Sunday night.
Haaland gestured to the bench, asking to be taken off, and was promptly replaced by Jørgen Strand Larsen after 67 minutes of a 2-1 defeat by Portugal in the Nations League.
There was no confirmation about the status of the Manchester City striker's fitness afterwards.
"He was tired against Wales," Norway coach Ståle Solbakken said afterwards.
"That's why we had a heart-to-heart conversation [before the Portugal game]. We went through the possible options.
"He might have played the last 45 minutes against Portugal. That was a discussion. But he has very bad vibes and feelings about it. I am very pleased that he managed to pull out 60 good minutes."
City return to Premier League action this weekend at Anfield against Liverpool.
It will be City's first match since they were found guilty of all charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial rules. They have appealed the verdict.
Haaland has scored seven goals this season but couldn't find the back of the net against Portugal. His best chance was dragged wide of the post.
Kristoffer Ajer gave Norway a 36th-minute lead but João Cancelo sensationally equalised two minutes later. Gonçalo Ramos netted the winner after 79 minutes after Haaland had gone off.
Norway are bottom of Group A4 in the Nations League. Defending champions Portugal are top with Denmark second and Wales third.
