Matheus Cunha's 89th minute deflected strike saw Manchester United grab a late equaliser against Fulham after a bizarre own goal from Lisandro Martinez threatened to make a bad week worse for Michael Carrick.
Cunha's effort struck the out-stretched leg of David Affengruber and beat a helpless Bernd Leno to share the spoils in a match that lacked the intensity it merited.

Fulham came into this one rock bottom of the Premier League with just the one point from their four games so far and rise to 19th, usurping Tottenham in the process, with their draw.
A London derby win in midweek in the cup did something to ease the pressure on new boss Alvaro Arbeloa, and another point will do no harm.
United's midweek capitulation has turned up the pressure on Carrick, who had up until the start of this season, enjoyed a fairly serene time as United boss. But back-to-back defeats, albeit one courtesy of a wrongly-awarded Erling Haaland goal by VAR, has seen him having to respond to questions of job security already.
He said in the build up to United's trip to London that it was "ridiculous" to think that he could be under pressure so early in the season.
"In terms of future and ownership and how long I've got in the job, I'm not thinking 'how long have I got?' It's ridiculous to think that way in a position that I'm in. That's just not on the radar," he said.
The odds were stacked in United's favour for this one though, with Fulham winless in their last 10 home games against the club. Their last win against United at Craven Cottage came back in 2009 and they were denied right at the death.
