Brazil have announced their squad for the friendlies against Australia and India coming up during the international break via the federation's social media accounts on Wednesday. It's a strong team, led by Real Madrid's Vinícius Júnior and Barcelona captain Raphinha with Carlo Ancelotti opting to lean on many of his usual starters.

Defenders: Arthur Dias, Douglas Santos, Gabriel Magalhães, Jair, Marquinhos, Matheuzinho, Mauro Júnior, Vitor Reis, Wesley
Midfielders: Andrey Santos, Breno Bidon, Bruno Guimarães, Danilo Santos, Douglas Luiz, Gabriel Bontempo
Forwards: Endrick, Estêvão, João Pedro, Pedro, Raphinha, Rayan, Samuel Lino, Vinicius Jr.
In this first set of friendlies that Brazil are playing after their disastrous FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign. They will play Australia on Sept. 25 and 29, before facing India on Oct 3.
Their Australian matches are scheduled for the Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville and the Suncorp stadium in Brisbane. They will then take on India at the Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata.
Brazil and Australia last faced each other in June 2017 in Melbourne, a match Brazil won 4-0, with goals from Diego Souza (2), Thiago Silva and Taison. Meanwhile, this will be their first meeting with India.
India, home to a large number of Brazil fans, previously hosted Pele in 1977 when his New York Cosmos played Mohun Bagan in Kolkata's Eden Gardens.
Earlier, Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti had said this was an opportunity to try out different players, he told the federation website. "With these three friendly matches, we will begin a new cycle to project the National Team towards the goals of the coming years, which are the 2028 Copa América and the 2030 World Cup," he said. "We will take advantage of these three friendlies to call up new players for the National Team, especially young players, who can showcase their talent in the coming years.
Earlier this month, the Brazilian federation had already announced that they would return to Asia to close out calendar year 2026. They will face Japan on Nov. 14 and Singapore on Nov. 17.
