Leeds United and Brentford played out a 1-1 draw in matchweek 2 of the 2026-27 Premier League season, and you can relive all the action on ESPN.
Kevin Schade and Dominic Calvert-Lewin found the net for either side as Leeds climbed to seventh in the table with four points, while Brentford rose to fourth with the same number of points.
Keith Andrews' side were the dominant side in the first half, as Leeds struggled to deal with their press. Kevin Schade produced a stunning, looped finish over James Trafford after Keane Lewis-Potter's low cross from the left to open the scoring in the 41st minute. Brentford went into the break with the lead and looked all set to end their run of eight games without a win at Elland Road.
Daniel Farke brought on Harry Wilson and Ao Tanaka at the break, and his change to a back four brought immediate returns as Leeds found their answer to Brentford's press. The hosts had the better of the second half as it progressed, and scored a deserved equaliser in the 79th minute. Substitutes Daniel James, Nico Elvedi and Lukas Nmecha combined well down the right wing, with the latter firing in a low cross that Calvert-Lewin turned in from close range.
Igor Thiago and Calvert-Lewin then both forced the keepers at either end into great saves, but ultimately Leeds and Brentford had to make do with a point apiece.
