United States attacker Brenden Aaronson has signed a new three-year contract to stay at Leeds United, the club announced Thursday.
Aaronson, 25, first arrived at Leeds in 2022 after debuting as a pro with the Philadelphia Union in MLS before spending the 2021-22 season at RB Salzburg.
"Everyone at Leeds United is thrilled Brenden has extended his stay with the club ahead of our opening league fixture this weekend against Nottingham Forest," the club said in a statement. "We now look forward to seeing him continue to impress at Elland Road and away from home over the years to come."
In the recent 2025-26 Premier League campaign, Aaronson provided four goals and five assists across 37 matches for the club and has made 129 appearances since moving to Leeds.
Ahead of the 2026-27 season, the American has stood out for his club with goals against Liverpool and Manchester United in friendlies.
Earlier in the summer, the attacking midfielder was in the U.S. team that made a run to the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup, making one appearance in the group stage.
