Liverpool will host last season's semifinalists Atlético Madrid and will travel to the San Siro to take on Inter Milan in their UEFA Champions League campaign.
The league phase draw was made Thursday in Monaco, with Liverpool again welcoming Atlético to Anfield where Liverpool won 3-2 last September.
They six-time winners will also host Portuguese champions Porto, Spanish side Villarreal and French outfit Lens. As well as Inter Milan, Liverpool face away trips to take on Club Brugge, Fenerbahce in Türkiye and Austrian debutantes LASK.

The match schedule will be revealed on Saturday.
The Reds were knocked out in the quarterfinals last time out, after losing to eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain.
This time, Andoni Iraola will be the man leading Liverpool out, with Arne Slot gone and a new era underway at the club.
The top eight teams in the final standings go direct to the round of 16 in March. Teams placed ninth to 24th enter the knockout playoffs in February to decide the other eight teams in the round of 16. Teams placed 25th to 36th are eliminated.
