- Liverpool are ready to make another move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, after the French club signed Ajax's Mika Godts for €45 million, says The Standard. Barcola, 23, has slipped down the pecking order in Paris as the club have opted to bring in Godts, Maghnes Akliouche and Ferran Torres for a combined €150 million to bolster their attack. Barcola was an unused substitute during PSG's 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup this week, and manager Luis Enrique said afterwards that "when a player doesn't have a smile when coming here, it's better to look for another solution." Sources have told ESPN that the France international is top of Liverpool's wishlist in their pursuit of a wide forward this summer, and that the club have held preliminary talks with his representatives; Arsenal have also been linked, but PSG want a fee of around €150 million.
- AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit is on the radar of Real Madrid, says AS. Smit, 20, is reportedly ready to leave the Eredivisie to progress his career and AZ are willing to accept offers of around €60 million. Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have all shown interest in the Netherlands international before, but Jose Mourinho's side would only move if one of their current options in midfield moves on.
- Tottenham Hotspur are interested in a deal to sign Crystal Palace defender Daniel Muñoz, according to The Daily Mail. The Colombia international has been linked with an exit from Selhurst Park this summer, with Everton the team most heavily rumored with a switch. Interest from Spurs comes after Djed Spence's €30 million move to Inter Milan, which has left Pedro Porro as the team's only natural option at right back. Munoz has two years left on his deal with Crystal Palace, and has made 108 appearances for the Eagles since his move from Genk in 2024.
- Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki is progressing towards a €30 million switch to Aston Villa, after a move to Paris Saint-Germain broke down. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Villa are keen on landing the Japan international, which could lead to an exit for current No. 1 Emiliano Martínez, who is a target for Juventus.
- Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo is closing in on a move to Tottenham, as Nicolo Schira reports that he is "one step away" from a switch. The 27-year-old signed a new deal with the Reds last year, which runs until 2030, but could leave soon after manager Arne Slot was sacked at the end of last season and replaced by Andoni Iraola. Personal terms have already been agreed, but talks are underway between Spurs and Liverpool over a fee for the Netherlands international that could reach £70 million.
- Newcastle United have engaged in direct talks with Bayern Munich over a deal to sign João Palhinha, claims Florian Plettenberg. The combative Portugal midfielder has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Aston Villa among those rumored with interest. The terms of a deal are yet to be fully thrashed out, with Bayern unwilling to discuss another loan and only interested in a permanent move.
