The first piece of silverware of the season is upon us, with Arsenal and Manchester City set to face off this weekend in the FA Community Shield.
The Community Shield is the curtain-raiser of the new season and, just five days later, Arsenal will take on Coventry City as they begin their defence of the Premier League title.
But this year's Community Shield isn't being held at its usual home of Wembley Stadium.
Instead, it will take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
The change in venue is because Wembley is already booked up this weekend with, no pun intended, The Weeknd taking his "After Hours Til Dawn" tour to the English capital from Aug. 14 until Aug. 19.
This isn't the only time that the Community Shield has been held elsewhere. In 2022, Leicester's King Power Stadium hosted the match while Wembley prepared to stage the UEFA Women's Euros final -- which England's Lionesses famously went on to win on home soil.
And back in 2012, Villa Park was the venue of choice when Wembley was in use at the London Summer Olympics.
The Principality Stadium is also the home of the Welsh national rugby team, although it has been used on numerous previous occasions to host football, too.
While the new Wembley was being built between 2000 and 2007, the Principality hosted the FA Cup final and the Community Shield every year. Between 2001 and 2006, it was the home of the League Cup final.

In 2017, the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Juventus took place at the Principality, too.
While the Community Shield does not often signify who will win the Premier League the following season, both Man City and Arsenal will be keen to get their hands on a piece of silverware to set the tone for the season coming.
And with a new era dawning at Man City, while Arsenal enter the new season as the defending champions, it promises to be a fascinating encounter.
