Galatasaray have made a €45million ($51.8m) bid to sign Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal, sources have told ESPN.
The 26-year old has been available for several months with the Gunners looking to upgrade the left-side of their attack.
They explored a move for Vinícius Júnior before he signed a new contract with Real Madrid while Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola and Chelsea's Pedro Neto are among alternatives under consideration.
Arsenal have already signed another left winger this summer -- Christos Tzolis for €40m ($46m) from Club Brugge -- to replace Leandro Trossard, who joined Besiktas for €20m ($23m) last month and will now decide whether to accept a bid for Martinelli.
Martinelli has one year remaining on his current contract-- worth approximately £180,000-a-week ($242,000) -- but the club have an option to extend for a further 12 months.
It is currently unclear whether the player would be willing to join the Turkish club as personal terms are yet to be discussed in any detail.
The Brazilian featured at this summer's World Cup and has played 191 times for Arsenal, scoring 41 goals, since joining from Ituano in 2019 for £6m ($8m).

Sources have told ESPN that Arsenal are shifting towards more of a trading model this summer and so outgoings are expected as they look to build on last season's Premier League title, their first in 22 years.
Ben White could be allowed to depart, especially if Arsenal pursue a deal to sign Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa.
The Gunners have held an interest in the England international all summer but are yet to formalise their interest.
