The United States beat Peru 4-1 on Wednesday with eight teenagers making their first appearances for the senior side and two -- Justin Ellis and Julian Hall -- scoring their first goals.

The goals from Ellis and Hall at Orlando's Inter&Co Stadium marked the first time two USMNT teenagers scored in the same game since May 28, 2018, when Josh Sargent and Timothy Weah both found the back of the net against Bolivia.

A total of 11 players made their first appearances for the U.S., including Philadelphia Union star Cavan Sullivan starting the match for Mauricio Pochettino's side in its first game since exiting the FIFA World Cup this summer with a loss to Belgium in the round of 16.

The other five teenagers were Peyton Miller, Zavier Gozo, Neil Pierre, Adri Mehmeti and Mathis Albert.

Ellis opened the scoring with a header early in the first half before Peru tied it up on a goal from Gianluca Lapadula, but it was all U.S. after that.

Malik Tillman put the U.S. back in the lead in the second half, Sebastian Berhalter teed up Hall for his goal and then added one of his own with a rocket from well outside the area to make it 4-1.

The U.S. has three friendlies left to play in the September/October international window with games against Chile, Mexico and Canada still to come.
