Andrew Graham's scrappy goal gave Dumbarton a 1-0 win at Brechin in the Scottish Communities League Cup.Graham struck in the 59th minute following Scott Linton's long throw which appeared to go in off the Brechin man rather than the Sons defender.The hosts had enjoyed the better of the first half with Robert Thomson and Alan Trouten missing good chances and they were made to pay by Graham as the hour approached.City threw bodies forward in a bid to force extra time but it was the Sons who had the best chance to wrap it up, Mitchel Megginson firing wide after Archie Campbell set him up at the death.
