Spin: Malkin had four points over the first two games of the season, but his offense cooled off with the rest of the Penguins' decline in scoring over this week. The 40-year-old has three goals, two assists, 11 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over five outings this season. Malkin can still chip in fairly well, but he may be prone to some fluctuations on offense despite a steady second-line role.
