Aaron Rodgers threw one touchdown pass to move to third on the NFL's career list and Chris Boswell kicked three field goals in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 16-10 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday in the NFL's first regular-season game in France.

Jaylen Warren rushed for 101 yards and Rodgers completed 19 of 30 passes for 212 yards and scrambled for a key first down late in fourth quarter as the Steelers (5-2) won their third straight game.

Rodgers' 4-yard touchdown pass to 6-foot-7, 265-pound tight end Darnell Washington -- with 5-foot-11 cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry in coverage -- put the Steelers up 10-3.

The scoring pass broke a tie with Peyton Manning on the all-time touchdown passes list. Rodgers now sits alone in third with 540 touchdown passes in his career.

Earlier on the drive, Rodgers moved in the pocket and found DK Metcalf for a 51-yard completion to the New Orleans 4. NFL France called it "quel caviar d'Aaron Rodgers."

Rodgers also helped seal the Steelers' win when he scrambled on a key fourth-quarter play in New Orleans territory Sunday. The 42-year-old star left the pocket on third-and-6 and picked up 8 yards before being tackled just before the two-minute warning.

"Sometimes you've got to suck it up and make a play for your guys," Rodgers said. "I think because I am so much less athletic than I used to be, it actually fires up the guys even more."

Linebacker Payton Wilson had a red zone interception of Tyler Shough in the third quarter, and the Saints (2-5) couldn't recover. New Orleans rushed for just 18 yards.

With the Saints threatening on their opening drive of the second half, Wilson stepped in front of a short pass intended for Chris Olave. The Steelers got in field goal position, and Boswell was good from 39 yards for a 16-10 lead.

"That's honestly just a credit to our coaches and what we do every day in practice," Wilson said. "I've repped that play, no lie, more than 20 times now. Just gambling a little bit and undercutting it."

Seated side by side at the postgame news conference, Rodgers added: "Did it help that you picked me off in practice on this very similar play this week?"

Patrick Queen sacked Shough on third down to stall a New Orleans drive with under seven minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Shough completed 30 of 38 passes for 278 yards, one touchdown and the interception.

Just before halftime, Rodgers was sacked by Carl Granderson on third down, and with 15 seconds left and no timeouts, the Steelers offense ran to the sideline. Boswell sprinted on and kicked a 47-yard field goal to give Pittsburgh a 13-10 lead at the half.

Attendance was 78,488 at Stade de France.

Rodgers called the rendition of the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, "gorgeous."

The Steelers quarterback did note, however, that it was sometimes confusing looking for the play-clock number among many other numbers on the stadium's scoreboard.

The atmosphere in Paris was tense following rioting and looting the preceding week during protests across the country over school funding and soaring living costs. Fans strolling Paris streets saw boarded-up storefronts and a heavy police presence ahead of more protests Saturday.

Steelers coach Mike McCarthy said players and their families and friends "really enjoyed" Friday -- when the team arrived -- but stayed close to the hotel Saturday when more protests took place.
