New York Jets running back Breece Hall, who suffered a quad injury in Sunday's 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions, is considered week-to-week, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Hall's MRI showed Hall's injury isn't as significant as feared, the sources said.
The Jets said Hall had a thigh injury on Sunday when he was ruled out. Early in the fourth quarter Sunday, Hall was tackled out of bounds and, rolling over in pain, clutched his right thigh.
Hall rushed for 32 yards on 13 carries Sunday and also had three catches for 23 yards before his injury. So far this season he has rushed for 163 yards and has 102 receiving yards in three games. He also has a rushing touchdown.
Hall, in his fifth season with the Jets, signed a three-year, $43.5 million contract extension with the team in the offseason after New York first used the franchise tag to keep him from unrestricted free agency.
