Saints LT Kelvin Banks Jr. carted off with ankle injury

BALTIMORE -- New Orleans Saints left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. (ankle) was ruled out of Sunday's 24-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth quarter.

Banks was carted off the field after landing awkwardly on his ankle on a third-and-19 play that resulted in Tyler Shough being sacked. Banks appeared to grab his left ankle and did not get up. He was attended to by the medical staff before getting on a cart and leaving the game.

The 22-year-old Banks was the ninth pick of the 2025 draft and started all 17 games at left tackle for New Orleans last season.

Veteran lineman Asim Richards took over for Banks on the next offensive series. The Dallas Cowboys traded Richards and a 2028 seventh-round pick to the Saints during the 2025 preseason in exchange for a 2028 sixth-round pick.
