NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Titans right tackle Chance Warmack will miss this Sunday's AFC South showdown against the Indianapolis Colts after suffering a sprained right knee against the Cleveland Browns.
Warmack left the game in Cleveland in the second quarter Sunday and did not return. He wore a brace and was on crutches after the game and said he didn't know what happened when he got hurt as the hit that took him out came from behind.
Jamon Meredith stepped in for Warmack and will stay at right tackle, coach Ken Whisenhunt said.
The Titans gave up seven sacks of rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota against Cleveland and will concentrate on getting to the line quicker to assess the defense and set protections, Whisenhunt said.
Mariota is the NFL's top-rated passer after two games with a 129.9 passer rating thanks to a 64.2 completion percentage, six touchdowns and zero interceptions.
