News: 3 days agoFlournoy brought in three of four targets for 90 yards in the Cowboys' 24-16 loss to the Buccaneers on Thursday night.
Spin: Flournoy finished tied for distant runner-up slotting in receptions, but he also was a comfortable second in receiving yards thanks in large part to a team-high 48-yard catch. His yardage tally was his highest since Week 14 of last season, and it was his first above 37 receiving yards in the current campaign. Despite the breakout Thursday, Flournoy remains a volatile week-to-week option unless CeeDee Lamb (quadriceps) or George Pickens are unavailable.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Flournoy is an intriguing deep sleeper as the favorite for No. 3 wide receiver duties behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in Dallas. Flournoy flashed in 2025, putting up 14.2 fantasy PPG during the only five games in which his route participation was at least 60%. Flournoy did disappear quite a bit behind the heavily targeted Lamb and Pickens (three or fewer targets in seven of his final 10 games), so he's a long shot for standalone fantasy value even if he locks down the No. 3 gig. The 26-year-old should be added to rosters only if Lamb or Pickens are sidelined.
