News: 12 hours agoJeanty carried the ball 10 times for 27 yards and caught three of six targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 45-17 loss to New England.

Spin: A 31-yard catch in the fourth quarter salvaged Jeanty's day to some extent, but he wasn't able to cash in the red-zone opportunity he created as Dylan Laube instead ran in a two-yard score. Jeanty's rushing yards total was a season low, and he's still looking for his first rushing TD while averaging just 3.3 yards per carry, keeping his fantasy value afloat with a 22-215-2 line on 30 targets through five games. He'll look for more success on the ground in Week 6 against what has been a vulnerable Bills run defense.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Jeanty is eyeing a leap forward in his second NFL season after an uneven rookie campaign in which the first-round pick enjoyed a ton of volume (seventh among backs in carries, targets and receptions) and played fairly well (eighth among RBs in forced missed tackle rate, per PFF) but struggled to overcome the shaky Las Vegas offense. The good news is that the Raiders' offense should improve in 2026 with a better/healthier offensive line, a new coach in Super Bowl champion Klint Kubiak and a new quarterback in projected No. 1 NFL draft pick Fernando Mendoza. Jeanty has a clean path to a massive offensive role and is a strong bet for a leap forward. The 22-year-old is a midrange RB1 with elite upside.
