News: 5 days agoCameron caught both his targets for 41 yards in Friday's 34-17 preseason loss to the Panthers.

Spin: The 2026 sixth-round pick made both his receptions in the first quarter with Nick Mullens under center, as the Jaguars rested their likely Week 1 starters on offense. Cameron is battling fellow sixth-round rookie C.J. Williams for a spot on the gameday roster, but neither should be expected to see a significant role unless injuries to Parker Washington (undisclosed) and Jakobi Meyers (hand) linger into the regular season.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Cameron was selected by the Jaguars in the sixth round of April's draft. Cameron is a big, strong, perimeter receiver who aligned out wide on 84% of his collegiate routes across five seasons at Baylor. Cameron's overall efficiency is underwhelming (1.58 YPRR), but he was certainly busy the last two seasons, totaling 52-754-10 and 69-872-9 receiving lines. He'll begin his career no higher than fifth on the Jacksonville depth chart behind Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and Travis Hunter.
