News: 4 days agoHead coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Berrios did not play in Saturday's 26-3 preseason win over the Dolphins due to a soft-tissue issue, Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports.
Spin: The injury is considered a minor one, so Berrios should be able to practice this week and play in the Giants' preseason finale against the Jets on Friday. The veteran wide receiver signed with the Giants in early June after appearing in four regular-season games for the Texans in 2025. If Berrios makes the Giants' 53-man roster for the regular season, then he is expected to see most of his playing time on special teams as a returner on kickoffs and punts.
