Spin: Higbee was the Rams' TE1 for a second consecutive week due to the absence of Colby Parkinson (shoulder/knee). Even with superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua back from a two-game absence, Higbee still finished Sunday's game tied for the second-most receiving yards on the Rams, and his six targets were fourth-most behind Kyren Williams (13), Nacua (12) and Davante Adams (nine). After a quiet start to the season, Higbee has a 13-129-1 line on 17 targets over his last two games. He may have shown enough to warrant an established role in the Rams offense moving forward, even if Parkinson is cleared to return for Week 5 against the Bills.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Higbee re-signed with the Rams and will battle for work with the likes of Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen, Terrance Ferguson and rookie Max Klare. The 2016 fourth-round pick has a pair of top-10 fantasy campaigns in his career, but the last one came in 2022 and he's finished 24th or worse in three consecutive seasons. Injuries have been part of the issue (21 missed games over the last two seasons), but so has a lesser role and minimal goal-line work (seven touchdowns and four end zone targets over the last three years). Now 33 years old, Higbee is likely third in line for targets at his position on his own team and, thus, nowhere close to fantasy relevance.
