Samford Bulldogs @ Furman Paladins
Samford shuts out Furman, 45-0
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Michael Eubank threw for a career high 314 yards, Karel Hamilton added a career high 206 yards receiving, and Samford pounded Furman 45-0 on Saturday.
Eubank and Hamilton would connect once for a touchdown, a 62-yard strike early in the first.
Denzel Williams finished with 101 yards on the ground with two touchdowns, and Jay Galloway returned a blocked punt 15 yards for a score less than 2 minutes into the game for the Bulldogs (4-3, 3-2 Southern Conference) , who scored at least 10 points or more in three of the four quarters.
P.J. Blazejowski had 133 yards passing for Furman (2-6, 1-2), finishing with two interceptions and no touchdowns. Blazejowski was also the Paladins leading rusher with 51 yards. Andrej Suttles added 49 yards receiving on seven receptions.
