News: 7 hours agoSarr is in the starting lineup for Saturday's preseason matchup with the Pistons, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Spin: Joining Sarr in the first unit for Saturday's exhibition will be Trae Young, Kyshawn George, AJ Dybantsa and Anthony Davis. Deandre Ayton will work in the second unit with Sarr active.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Sarr was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft, and he has quietly been developing into a starting caliber center worthy of such lofty draft heritage. In roughly the same 27 minutes he averaged as a rookie, Sarr upped almost all of his fantasy stats as a sophomore. He is a strong shot-blocker and defender that appears to have 20-10 point-rebound upside in the near future. His ceiling may be capped this season with the additions Anthony Davis and Deandre Ayton, but if he gets starter minutes Sarr has top-50 fantasy potential, particularly in category leagues.
