News: 2 days agoDuren (reconditioning) won't suit up for Saturday's preseason game against the Wizards, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Spin: Duren is still working himself into game shape after sitting out training camp while his contract negotiation played out, but he is hopeful to suit up at some point during the preseason. His next chance to get on the court will come Wednesday in Minnesota.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Duren took a major leap last season, almost doubling his scoring output from the season before to average a rounded 20-10 points-rebounds double-double. Still only 22 years old with incredible athletic gifts, Duren should continue to improve as he grows into his role as the second star next to Cade Cunningham. Duren gets a high volume of point-blank looks that make him one of the most efficient plus-scorers in the league.
