News: 4 days agoReaves (ankle) is available for Thursday's preseason game against the Kings, Benjamin Royer of The Orange County Register reports.
Spin: Head coach JJ Redick confirmed Reaves' availability, meaning the Lakers will have one of their go-to offensive options on the hardwood for this preseason contest. As a result, the 28-year-old will get some much-needed reps as the regular season approaches.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Reaves made a star leap last season, proving that he had the capacity to produce major numbers when given the opportunity to. With LeBron James no longer on the Lakers' roster, Reaves now slots as the full-time second option on the team behind Luka Doncic with major upside whenever Doncic is out of the lineup. In four games when both Doncic and James were out of the lineup last season, Reaves averaged a whopping 39.0 PPG and 9.5 APG.
