News: 1 day agoBridges (ankle) won't play in Saturday's preseason game against the Spurs, Hayden Cilley of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Spin: While Bridges won't play Saturday, he was able to practice Friday, so he's trending in the right direction. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday in a preseason rematch with the Spurs.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: After playing the first seven seasons of his career with the Hornets, Bridges was traded this offseason and becomes the new starting forward for the Suns. Bridges' role in Phoenix should be similar to the one he played in Charlotte: a shooter-scorer big forward playing off talented perimeter creators and a supporting rebounder to a defensive role playing center. Though his geography changed, his fantasy value remains similar.
