Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 14 hours agoBane (rest) is available for Tuesday's preseason game against the Cavaliers.
Spin: Bane sat out Sunday's loss to Cleveland but is set to return to action in Orlando's penultimate exhibition game. The veteran swingman's return will likely send Tristan da Silva back to the second unit.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: The Magic traded for Bane prior to last season to give them a 3-point threat in a lineup that lacked long-range shooting, and in his first season he averaged more than 20 points with two 3-pointers per game. Bane maxed in both of those categories in 2023-24, when he averaged 23.7 PPG and 3.3 3PG with the Grizzlies. He has the upside to achieve that level of 3-point output this season, particularly if teammates Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner are healthy and siphoning away defensive pressure.
