News: 3 days agoJokic recorded 22 points (8-12, 1-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 11 rebounds, 10 assists and a block in 26 minutes during Sunday's 133-128 preseason win over the Bulls.
Spin: Denver elected to play its starters into the second half for the first time this preseason, leading to Jokic producing a highly efficient triple-double while playing three quarters. The star big man led the game in rebounds and assists. Jokic is coming off six straight seasons in which he finished in the top two in MVP voting, and he seems poised for another dominant campaign.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Jokic has been the top fantasy points scorer for six seasons and counting. He is coming off his second straight season averaging a triple-double, in which he notched a career-best 10.7 APG. The Nuggets offense is built entirely around Jokic, and he is surrounded by finishers at every position, which helps him generate assists and also opens up space for his own scoring. Jokic also remains one of the best rebounders in the league. Barring injury, he projects to lead the league in fantasy points yet again this season.
