Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 7 hours agoEmbiid (rest) is out for Saturday's exhibition against the Celtics, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
Spin: Head coach Nick Nurse is resting most of the vets for Saturday's exhibition, so Jabari Walker could get all the run he can handle. Embiid should return for Friday's preseason rematch with Boston.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Availability is the primary question when it comes to Embiid's fantasy prospects. His production is still elite when he is on the court, but in the last two seasons he has only played in 57 of a possible 164 games. His durability history makes him difficult to draft before the middle-late rounds of fantasy drafts, but if this were the season where he could play even 60 games Embiid could be a league-winning player. The 76ers are chock full of talent with the offseason additions of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, but when the 32-year-old Embiid is on the court he still defaults to a primary role in the team's offense.
