Quinones scores 30 as Magic outlast Trail Blazers in OT

Lester Quinones scored a game-high 30 points to lead the Orlando Magic to a 112-105 overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers in an NBA summer league game that featured 17 lead changes Sunday at the Pavilion in Las Vegas.

Orlando erased the deficit and took its first lead of the game late in the third. The fourth quarter was a frantic affair, with numerous lead changes. The teams traded baskets in the final minute, with two free throws from Johnson with six seconds remaining sending the game to overtime knotted at 101-101.

In overtime, Wheeler opened the scoring with a 3-pointer to give Orlando a 104-101 lead, an advantage the Magic would not relinquish. Quinones helped seal the victory by making five free throws in the final 30 seconds of the extra period.
