Beekman's 14 assists guide Wizards past Hawks

Reece Beekman delivered a strong performance with 13 points and a game-high 14 assists, leading the Washington Wizards to a 91-83 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday in an NBA summer league game at the Pavilion in Las Vegas.

Beekman's double-double paced a balanced Washington attack that had four players score in double figures. John Camden co-led all scorers with 22 points, including four 3-pointers, and Chris Livingston had 20 points and five rebounds. A 3-pointer from Seth Trimble at the 6:49 mark and a three-point play by Camden 50 seconds later helped Washington rebuild its lead. The Wizards put the game out of reach with a 13-0 run, capped on a layup by Okpara with 3:56 left to make it 82-66.
