Hayes, Brock lead Oakland to 90-76 win over Youngstown St.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Jalen Hayes had 21 points and Isaiah Brock added 16 with 18 rebounds as Oakland routed Youngstown State 90-76 on Thursday night.

Hayes hit 8 of 10 from the floor and was 5 of 5 from the free throw line. Brock was 6 of 7 from the floor as Oakland finished hitting 32 of 63 (51 percent) from the field. Brock also grabbed six offensive boards. The Golden Grizzles (17-7, 7-4 Horizon) made 18 of 18 free throws.

Martez Walker added 17 points for Oakland.

The Golden Grizzlies grabbed an early lead, took a 42-37 lead at the break and were up 71-51 midway through the second half. Oakland coasted home for its second straight win. The Golden Grizzlies shot 57 percent from the floor in the first half of the second period.

Francisco Santiago had a career-high 26 points, hitting 11 of 18 field goals, for Youngstown State (10-14, 4-7).
