Longwood rallies, outlasts Radford 90-79 in 2OT
FARMVILLE, Va. -- Leron Fisher scored 26 points, Lotanna Nwogbo added 17 with 14 rebounds and five blocks as Longwood outlasted Radford 90-79 in double overtime on Saturday night.
Ryan Badowski finished with 22 points on 7-of-8 shooting and Quincy Taylor had 10 with seven assists for the Lancers (5-10, 1-1 Big South).
Cameron Jones led Radford (9-6, 0-2) with 20 points and four steals while Javonte Green chipped in 13 points and 11 boards.
Longwood erased a late 12-point deficit, closing regulation on a 14-2 run capped by Nwogbo's three-point play to force overtime.
The Lancers needed another rally in the first overtime, as Fisher and Nwogbo each made a pair of free throws and Taylor sank a layup to tie it with four seconds left.
Fisher took over from there, hitting a 3-pointer and sinking 10 free throws as Radford ran out of gas in double overtime.
