Radford Highlanders @ Presbyterian Blue Hose
Presbyterian 62, Radford 60
CLINTON, S.C. (AP) -- Al'Lonzo Coleman's layup with 15 seconds left put Presbyterian ahead to stay in a 62-60 win over Radford on Saturday for the school's first win as a Division I program.
Pat Kiscaden added one free throw with three seconds left, and Radford's desperation half-court heave at the buzzer was off the mark.
Bryan Bostic scored 17 points and Travis Sligh scored 11 for the Blue Hose (1-8), who were playing their first home game since joining Division I this season.
Joey Lynch-Flohr had 21 points and seven rebounds, and Amir Johnson had 16 points and seven boards for the Highlanders (3-5), who beat Presbyterian by 14 at home on Nov. 14.
Radford led 60-56 before Kiscaden hit a 3-pointer to get Presbyterian within one. Sligh then came up with a steal at the other end, leading to Coleman's bucket.
The Highlanders made just 1-of-10 3-pointers.
