PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- — -- — Omari Peek-Green scored 21 points and Lorenzo Downey had a block in the final seconds as Alabama A&M beat UAPB 63-62 on Saturday night.
Peek-Green had six rebounds for the Bulldogs (2-12, 1-0 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Downey scored eight points while going 4 of 9 (0 for 3 from 3-point range), and added 13 rebounds. Cameron Tucker had six points and finished 3 of 6 from the field. The victory snapped a seven-game slide for the Bulldogs.
